What Can YOU Expect at GetFit Personal Training?

Renee Clark - Personal Trainer

Welcome to GetFit Personal Training

I believe in a holistic approach to personal training that encompasses the care of your whole being: physical, emotional/mental and spiritual. If one aspect is altered in anyway, it can drastically effect all aspects of your life. Core fitness becomes very vital because to me, core fitness is about your total body wellness. I am committed to offering you a safe, positive and supportive environment where you can achieve your full fitness goals.

Making the decision to meet Renee and have her become a regular part of my life has been the second best choice, next to my husband of 15 years, which I have made. I am 36 years old and have never been a physically fit or an active person, but the beginning of 2009 I decided that it was time to make a change. I had gotten sick in 2007 and that left me with damage to my lungs and regular use of an asthmatic inhaler. This was not the life I wanted to live. After I had been personal training and doing restorative yoga with Renee for about 4 weeks I no longer needed my inhaler and I am now a daily walker/jogger. I feel better than I did when I was 16 years old. Renee, I can’t thank you enough for helping put me on this path and helping change my life.

An almost forgotten note, Zero Balancing is an experience like no other. The emotional baggage, the daily grind, and the unreleased energy from years of migraines – this process is amazing – it opens up the body’s energy center to allow it all to be released and your energy to flow freely. To experience this with Renee is so very special.

GetFit Quick Tips

Effective Weight Training

To increase the effectiveness of your weight training, always warm-up for 5-10 minutes on the elliptical, treadmill or bike. For every degree your body temp goes up, you increase the metabolic rate inside your cells by about 13%. In addition, warming-up helps:

  • Raise your heart rate
  • Send blood to your working muscles
  • Ramp up your respiration
  • Get maximum boost in your calorie burn
