About Renee Clark

Renee Clark - GetFit Personal TrainerRenee Clark is a certified personal trainer with American Fitness & Training of Athletes. She has been a personal trainer since 2002. She specializes in core strengthening, weight loss and athletic development. Renee has also recovered from two ACL reconstructive surgeries and therefore has extensive experience in knee recovery.

 Renee completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training through Siva Power Yoga in 2008 and is registered through Yoga Alliance.  She has joined with Innerworks Yoga which offers a variety of yoga classes including beginner’s flow yoga, yoga basics, and restorative yoga as well as personal yoga sessions upon request. Renee believes yoga can assist in healing, detoxifying and exhilarating the body and mind through an emphasis on uniting breath and movement. She believes yoga can be fun and beneficial to people of all levels of fitness.

Renee has integrated this belief into a holistic approach while personal training people and believes that exercise is a catalyst to help people make positive changes in all areas of their lives. A holistic approach to personal training will awaken balance, stablility, strength, speed and power. As these attributes are strengthened physically, you will begin noticing yourself implementing them into all aspects of your life. You will begin producing more balanced, quick and strong decisions. Your confidence will grow and you will begin to trust in your ability to live a less stressful life. Renee will work with each person to form an individualized fitness plan to meet your needs and help you reach your fitness goals. She is passionate in helping her clients realize their full potential.

Renee is also a student of Zero Balancing and is the process of receiving her certification through the Zero Balancing Health Association.

In 2009, Renee finished her first marathon. Endurance training has added a new dimension to her training and life. She enjoyed the process of personal growth that marathon training brought to her life so much that she now volunteers for Team in Training through the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society as a walking coach. She enjoys helping people reach their personal goals of completing either half or full marathons as well as helping out in her community to help fight against blood cancers.

Renee has been married since 1987 to her husband Steve. They have four children: Stefani, Kristi, Will and Jadyn and one grandson, Braxton. Her family is her inspiration and they are truly a joy! Renee loves to attend her kids’ extracurricular events, travel, read, and attends WSU alumni and athletic events. She also enjoys meeting and being an encouragement to people.
