Background on Renee Clark
Renee Clark is a certified personal trainer with American Fitness & Training of Athletes. She is 200 RYT certified with Yoga Alliance. She has been a personal trainer since 2002. She specializes in core strengthening, balancing the body and functional movement. Renee has also recovered from two ACL reconstructive surgeries and therefore has extensive experience in knee recovery.
Renee has integrated a holistic approach with personal training and believes that exercise is a catalyst to help people make positive changes in all areas of their lives. A holistic approach to personal training will awaken balance, stability, strength, speed and power. As these attributes are strengthened physically, you will begin noticing yourself implementing them into all aspects of your life. You will begin producing more balanced, quick and strong decisions. Your confidence will grow and you will begin to trust in your ability to live a less stressful life. Renee will work with each person to form an individualized fitness plan to meet your needs and help you reach your fitness goals. She is passionate in helping her clients realize their full potential
In 2009, Renee finished her first marathon. Endurance training has added a new dimension to her training and life. She enjoyed the process of personal growth that marathon training brought to her life so much that she now volunteers for Team in Training through the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society as a walking coach. She enjoys helping people reach their personal goals of completing either half or full marathons as well as helping out in her community to help fight against blood cancers.
Family and Business
Renee has been married since 1987 to her husband Steve. They have four children: Stefani, Kristi, Will and Jadyn and one grandson, Braxton. Her family is her inspiration and they are truly a joy! Renee loves to attend her kids’ extracurricular events, travel, read, and attends WSU alumni and athletic events. She also enjoys meeting and being an encouragement to people and is co-founder of Alter Direction, a Wichita-based addiction awareness and education company that offers peer support as well as community outreach events to help those suffering from the effects of addiction.
